Rental and safari terms:

1. Snowmobile may not be used in any competition or illegal activity. A user is committed to ride the snowmobile only on marked snowmobile routes as well as to follow all the rules and regulations that apply. A speed limit on the snowmobile route is 60km/h.
2. It is forbidden to use the snowmobile while under the influence of alcohol or any narcotic substances.
3. The user is responsible for any damage caused to the snowmobile.
4. The user is responsible for compensation for any damage caused to a third party.
5. The snowmobile should be returned in the same condition as it was at the time it was rented.
6. In case of a damage the owner of the snowmobile is immediately notified. The snowmobile may not be repaired without the permit of the owner.
7. In case of an accident the user excess fee is maximum 2500 euros of prepare and 2500 euros of medical costs. It is to be paid to the owner of the snowmobile. If the snowmobile is damaged outside the official snowmobile tracks, the user’s excess fee is 100%. In the price categories marked with ”∞” -user’s excess fee is always 100%. Snowmobile Excess fees are to be paid to the owner of the snowmobile immediately after assessment of damages.
8. If the user fails to return the snowmobile at the agreed time and agreed place, the owner is entitled to charge a double charge over the overdue period and for any costs incurred from such neglect in full.
9. It is forbidden to assign the snowmobile to a third party.
10. The rental rate excludes fuel. The snowmobile will be given with a full fuel tank and the user must return the snowmobile fuel tank (98) full.
11. The snowmobile user must be at least 15 years of age. Persons under the age of 18 however must have parental consent. The user must have at least a T class driving licence and it is a must to carry driving license at all times when using the snowmobile.
12. It is forbidden to chase reindeer with the snowmobile.
13. Day trip max. 250 km is included. Extra kilometres are 0,75 euros/km.
14. If we have to pick up the snowmobile from the snowmobile route due to the customer, we will charge retrieval fee by kilometres.
15. In case of a technical problem in Kittilä municipality area we will bring an replacement snowmobile. Out of municipality area there will be an extra charge.
16. Price includes instruction, snowmobile and driving outfit. Gasoline is charged at the end of rental.
