Safari Terms & Conditions

For your safety and comfort during the snow mobile safari, please pay attention to the following:

  •   Snowmobiling is allowed only under the supervision of the safari guide. At all times the decision of the tour guide will be final on all matters to ensure the safety and well-being of the group. Immelkartano has the right to cancel the safari from the customer who do not adhere the rules.
  •   Customer ensures that he understands all the given instructions during the briefing and whilst on the safari.
  •   Customer obeys traffic rules, Finnish laws and customs. Snow mobile tracks fall under the same laws as a road traffic.
  •   The driver has to be at least 15 years and has a driver’s licence.
  •   Customer ensures that he is medically fit and able to join the safari. Driving a snow mobile is not recommended during the pregnancy.
  •   Customer assures that he is not intoxicated by alcohol or any illegal substance.
  •   Immelkartano must be informed if the snowmobile breaks down.
  •   Damaged parts must be returned to Immelkartano.
  •   Driver is responsible of the damages caused to the snowmobiles. Customer pays broken parts of the snowmobile. Driver’s cost in case of damages is maximum 2500 euros of prepare and 2500 euros of medical costs. Immelkartano is not responsible for the possible harm caused by snowmobile break up.

* International rules apply whereby if you crash someone in front, liability lies with the person behind. Safety distance is 20 m.

* It is not recommended to take a snow mobile tour when the weather is colder than -25 Celsius. There is a risk to get injuries to the head, hands and feet caused by cold temperature. Those injuries are not covered by Immelkartano.  

Immelkartano insurances do not cover customer’s personal property. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

All the terms will be dispended by Finnish laws. Possible disagreements will be negotiated on the spot. Controversies will be solved in the district court in Finland.

By signing this document I agree that I have read safari conditions and terms and I agree to pay attention to all the guide’s instructions.
